Content Creator

Overview

The Content Creator is to produce marketing copy to advertise MAA’s campaigns and promote MAA’s content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic towards MAA.

Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:

  • To work closely with the Campaigns and Media Team to create social media schedules
  • To complete any tasks given by the Head of Campaigns and Media and provide updates at monthly meetings
  • Identify and understand donor’s needs and recommend new campaigns
  • To assist MAA in reaching 10,000 followers across our social platforms
  • To create innovative methods of boosting engagement across all social media platforms
  • To attend fundraising team meetings when appropriate
  • Prepare well-structured draft messages for marketing and social media purposes
  • Create marketing copy (e.g. text on posters, video scripts) to advertise MAA
  • Edit and proofread media before publication
  • To create informative briefs for graphic designers and videographers to produce effective content
  • To create briefs for the website developer to ensure website content is in line with MAA’s branding and content output
