Welfare Officer

Overview

To work closely with the General Secretary and to support the General Secretary with the running of the MAA Committee

Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:

  • To work with the General Secretary
  • Being a point of contact for committee to speak to regarding their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing
  • To escalate and issues to the relevant Executive committee (Heads)

Ensuring

  • A safe working environment is provided for all staff and volunteers.
  • The mental, physical and social needs of staff and volunteers are provided for to the best of our ability.
  • Concerns and issues of welfare are represented and followed through with relevant teams and Heads.
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Written Records are kept of any committee members who come to speak
