Welfare Officer
Overview
To work closely with the General Secretary and to support the General Secretary with the running of the MAA Committee
Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:
- To work with the General Secretary
- Being a point of contact for committee to speak to regarding their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing
- To escalate and issues to the relevant Executive committee (Heads)
Ensuring
- A safe working environment is provided for all staff and volunteers.
- The mental, physical and social needs of staff and volunteers are provided for to the best of our ability.
- Concerns and issues of welfare are represented and followed through with relevant teams and Heads.
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Written Records are kept of any committee members who come to speak
