Maa’s Peak District trek is back! Participants from across the country are invited to take part in a hike through one of Britain’s most beautiful mountain ranges. The money raised will provide vital healthcare for mothers in resource poor areas of Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

The Peak District is known and loved by many for its breath-taking views: From the high, moorland plateaus in the north, to the steep-sided, deep dales and rolling green hills in the south, the Charity Trek will take you through seven miles of this breath-taking scenery. Professional hiking guides and Maa ambassadors will be with you for every step of the 4-5 hour journey, showing you the best sights and keeping you safe throughout the day.

Fundraising

Participants will have a fundraising goal of £250, a donation page will be provided upon checkout to help you meet this target.

Itinerary

– 6:15am – Pick Up

– 11am – Arrival to Peak District

– 11:45am – Briefing with guides

– 12pm – 5pm – Hiking

– 6pm – Departure

-10:30pm – Arrival back

What To Bring

✓ Comfortable Walking Boots/Shoes. Shoes with grip.

✓ Loose, comfortable trousers or tracksuit bottoms (Ideally waterproof)

✓ A hooded top or fleece

✓ A warm coat (Dependent on weather)

✓ Backpack (Normal sized to carry items)

✓ Space Clothing (Dependent on weather – including socks, trousers and top) There will be space on the coach to leave your items

✓ Food (Standard packed-lunch items, with snacks to keep your energy going) Please remember to bring a water bottle

  • Walking Poles (Optional – For those who are not strong walkers, a walking pole is recommended

 

✖ Try to avoid wool (Wear synthetic clothing as they are quick drying)
