Welcome to Maa’s Night of Talents where we have a fantastic lineup of performers for you to come and see at the London Muslims Centre on 2nd June 2023. 

So we hope you are ready for a fantastic family friendly night with comedians, poets, nasheed artists and Quran recitation.

It doesn’t end there! We have fantastic stalls for you to browse and food to enjoy throughout the night. 

All this to fundraise for our grand project for the year- Maa’s Natural Birthing Centre in Bangladesh. 

Come support Maa, to continue to provide life-saving care, medication and education to women in Bangladesh and throughout resource-poor countries.

FAQs

1. How and when will I receive my tickets? 

You will get a receipt confirming your payment as soon as you order – this will be our standard “thanks for your order” receipt. 

Official e-tickets will be emailed to the address you gave when ordering one week before the event. 

You may also receive updates about the event via email so please keep an eye out for other emails from us containing the latest information.

2. What time do the doors open?

Doors will open at 5 PM. We have stalls where you can purchase snacks and refreshments before the show starts. Please arrive early to make use of this opportunity.

3. What is the latest time I can arrive?

The doors will close at 6 PM. If you arrive after this time, we can only permit entry during prayer time, to avoid disruption of the event. 

4. What time does the show end?

The show will end at 10 PM

5. Is there allocated seating?

There is no allocated seating. Seating is a first come first served basis. If you need specific seating arrangements please email – fundraising@maacharity.org 

6. Is there a minimum age? Is the show child friendly?

The show is suitable for children and family friendly. Children must be accompanied by adults.  

7. Do I need to buy a child’s ticket?

If the child will occupy a seat, then they will require a ticket. Small children sharing a seat, will not require a ticket.

8. Is there somewhere I can pray?

You will be able to pray in the East London Mosque. As The London Muslim Centre is attached to the East London Mosque, the adhan and congregational prayers can be heard on the speakers. We have allocated these times for prayer, please see the timings below.

9:12pm-9:35pm (Maghrib)

9. Will there be photography at the event?

There will be photography at the event to be used for media material. However if you would prefer your image not to be used please inform a member of staff. 

10. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer any refunds. However you can pass your ticket on to someone else.

11. Will there be any refreshments?

We will have stalls for refreshments to buy. 

12. Can we bring our own food and drinks to the event?

Yes, however no hot food is allowed.

13. Will there be car parking facilities?

We will not provide any car parking facilities. However there will be parking in the local area
