Role Purpose
Overview
● To manage the operations and logistics for all MAA UK fundraising, digital campaigns and PR projects
● To plan, execute and sustain all MAA UK fundraising, digital campaigns and PR projects
● To generate and sustain revenue for MAA UK
● To report to the CEO and UK Director with weekly updates
Campaigns & Media
● To work closely with the Head of Campaigns and Campaigns Team
● To provide operational support to MAA digital campaigns, media production and website development and manage the Campaigns & Media team
● To continuously innovate MAA’s campaign & media strategy in order to generate revenue streams and raise awareness
Fundraising
● To work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Fundraising Team
● To provide operational support to the Fundraising team, who will create,
organise and lead sustainable events that will raise money and awareness for MAA
Public Relations
● To work closely with the Head of Public Relations and Public Relations Team
● To provide operational support to the External Relations team- who will plan, organise and host MAA’s Podcast channel
Role Outline
Campaigns & Media – Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:
● To innovate MAA’s campaign & media strategy in order to generate revenue streams and raise awareness for MAA
● To identify and understand donor’s needs and develop new campaigns
● To create innovative methods of boosting engagement across all social media platforms
● To ensure MAA reaches 10,000 followers across our social platforms
● To manage MAA’s online fundraising platforms
● To oversee the MAA website redesign alongside the UK Director To ensure the MAA website is regularly updated
● To ensure MAA academic content is scheduled and released (e.g. academic blog)
● To assign and log hours for paid team members (videographer & graphics designer)
● To liaise with departmental heads where needed
● To liaise with the Head of PR and assist in developing a marketing strategy for MAA
● To report back to the UK Director with regular updates and escalate queries where necessary
Fundraising – Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:
● To devise a fundraising strategy to be approved by the UK Director
● To create and implement innovative ways of sustainable fundraising at MAA
● To agree a departmental budget and work to achieve or exceed a fundraising target
● To coordinate and manage fundraising, comprising of the Volunteer Pool, community, outreach and sponsored events.
● To provide professional development to fundraising managers, officers and media role train them to lead their own events and provide support where necessary
● To raise awareness for MAA
● To speak on behalf of the Fundraising team at MAA within the committee and to external contacts
● To oversee all fundraising campaigns
Public Relations – Key responsibilities and objectives of the job:
● To ensure the work undertaken by MAA is recognised for its quality and impact regionally, nationally, and internationally through MAA’s Podcast channel.
● To create partnership with key stakeholders in creating an executive board, consisting of corporate advisors and MAA global ambassadors
● To invite and host potential speakers to MAA’s Podcast channel
● To create a positive general public awareness of the charity
● Constantly promote the positive aspects of the charity activities and projects
● To chair meetings with your Public Relations Team and circulate meeting agenda
● To have an annual Public Relations timeline meeting with the UK Director

Salary/Working hours
Salary: You will be paid £25,000-28,000 per year depending on experience Blended working (work from home and office based)
